Volunteer Spotlight: Ms. Rita

Meet one of our valued volunteers, Ms. Rita.

If you are looking for a ready-to-eat meal kit, come see her! She has volunteered at Puerto Seguro for almost a decade, and she prepares and distributes over 40 meal kits every day that we are open. We are so grateful for all of her hard work and dedication! ❤️

If you have a way to cook, she can also provide you with canned goods, beans, pasta and other non-perishable food items to help get you through a rough patch.

For a more complete food box, the Storehouse is right next door and provides food boxes to the community on Thursdays.

Puerto Seguro is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am-2pm at 519 US Hwy 85 South, across from the Verizon Store on the south end of town. Our Saturday Center is open from 10am-6pm on Saturdays for Youth and Young Adults aged 16-24, and provides all the same services.
